LAS VEGAS (AP) — Douglas Ferreira won the third round of the PBR World Finals with a 91 on Smackdown on Friday night, while Caleb Sanderson rode his third straight bull to increase his lead in the event standings.

Sanderson was seventh in the round with an 84.75 for a three-ride total of 260.75. J.B. Mauney, the only other rider to score in all three rounds, was second with 247 points after finishing 10th at 73.75.

Silvano Alves leads the season standings with 12,974.25 points, followed by Valdiron de Oliveira (10,987.25) and Robson Palermo (9,439.75). Alves was ninth in the round at 82.75, and Palmero was third at 87.5.

The season champion will earn $1 million and the event winner will take home $250,000 after the six-round, $2.2 million finals at Thomas & Mack Center.
