(Las Vegas, NV)  — Talks between Clark County and one of its largest unions remain at a stalemate. The “Review-Journal” says an impasse was declared by the county yesterday, when the Service Employees International Union refused to eliminate longevity pay for new employees. A mediator will likely settle the issue. SEIU represents county workers at McCarran Airport, the Southern Nevada Health District and other agencies.
