GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A woman has received an $896 ticket for parking in a Las Vegas handicapped spot, even though her car was sitting in New York.  “The Consumerist” says according to the woman’s blog, she moved from Sin City to Buffalo in 2009, but her old license plate number was registered to another car. “Charlotte” says she notified the Nevada DMV before her move, and was told she didn’t have to surrender her plates.  She now plans to talk with Las Vegas city officials.
