(Victorville, CA)  —  The proposed high-speed train between Las Vegas and Victorville, California has cleared another hurdle. The “Daily Press” says the Federal Surface Transportation Board has given permission for DesertXpress officials to build and operate the 190-mile train line. Private developers are now awaiting word on a nearly five-billion dollar federal loan. A decision could come sometime next year.

If you have never been to Victorville you have not missed a thing. this train is nothing more that the land based version of a “Bridge to Nowhere”. it will be the gift that keeps on taking; taxes to subsidise it.

The whole idea is making Las Vegas closer to California. I just thank any improvements that triggers convenience. Those who are against progress can read my lips.
