Obama Tries To Repair Relationship With Vegas

(Las Vegas, NV)  — President Obama’s visit to Las Vegas gave him a chance to mend fences with the city’s new mayor.  Carolyn Goodman says Obama was “very gracious,” and she asked him to promote Vegas as “a great place to visit and to have a convention.”  Critics have slammed the President for statements they claim hurt Las Vegas’ tourism-based economy.  Among them was the current mayor’s husband, former Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
