(Las Vegas, NV)  – Metro’s Fiscal Affairs Committee has signed off on a new two-year contract for the department’s police officers. It cuts annual pay increases and eliminates longevity pay for new officers.  The new contract is expected to save nearly 8-million dollars for both Clark County and the city of Las Vegas. Metro officers ratified the new contract last week.
