(Las Vegas, NV) — Opening arguments are set to begin today in the latest civil trial involving the valley’s hepatitis C outbreak. Three people allege that a trio of drug makers sold large vials of the sedative Propofol, knowing the containers would lead to reuse by medical personnel. Two of the plaintiffs contracted hepatitis C at the now-closed Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada in 2007. Three similar trials ended with millions of dollars awarded to the plaintiffs.
