Obama Leaves Las Vegas


LAS VEGAS (AP) — President Barack Obama has left Las Vegas after a three-hour visit to promote mortgage relief for homeowners and speak at a campaign event.


Air Force One departed from McCarran International Airport about 3:15 p.m. Monday.


His stop included a luncheon at the Bellagio resort and a stop at a private residence in aLas Vegas neighborhood, where he spoke about jobs and the housing market.


The president is scheduled to fly to Los Angeles later in the day, where he’s set to talk at two campaign events at private homes.


He will spend the night in Los Angeles.
