Las Vegas – Former Bishop Gorman High School star and Dallas Cowboys rookie Demarco Murray set a team rushing record yesterday in the Cowboys 34-7 victory over the St Louis Rams, rushing for 253 yards including a 91 yard touchdown run. Murray ran for the most yards in the NFL this season and the ninth-most in league history plus ranks second with the most rushing yards in a single game by a rookie behind Adrian Peterson’s record of 296 yards set in 2007. Demarco Murray who graduated from Bishop Gorman in 2005 went on to star with the Oklahoma Sooners before being drafted in the third round of this year’s 2011 draft by the Cowboys
