Tourism Numbers Continue to Climb
(Las Vegas, NV) — For the 18th straight month, tourism is up in Las Vegas. The Convention and Visitors Authority says close to 3.3 million people came to Sin City in August, an increase of nearly 3% from a year earlier. So far this year, over 26-million tourists have made Vegas their destination. Room occupancy and daily rates are also up over August 2010, along with convention attendance.
