IHOP Shooting Weapons Update.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is releasing information regarding the weapons belonging to the shooter of the September 6th IHOP shooting. Police found a pistol and assault rifle near Eduardo Sencion’s body. The rifle used was a Norinco Mac 90, a modified version of the AK47. Approximately 60 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition were fired from the weapon. Investigators found the weapon had been altered to function as an automatic weapon by an unknown person. Investigators discovered the seapon was sold by a private seller to an unknown buyer. The weapon in its unaltered state is not prohibited by Nevada State Law. Investigators also found a Romarm AK47 semi-automatic rifle and a Glock semi-automatic handgun in Sencion’s vehicle. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office continues to search for the source of the rifle’s alterations and previous owner.
