SEAL Commander Testifies in Weapons Case
(Las Vegas, NV) — Defense attorneys are calling witnesses in the federal arms trafficking trial of Navy SEAL Nicholas Bickle. Yesterday, a commander of the program took the stand. Captain Thomas Chaby told a jury Bickle never had permission to give an AK-47 to film director Peter Berg, who earlier testified Bickle gave him the weapon at a hotel in San Diego. Bickle is charged with bringing machine guns and other weapons into the
country from theMiddle East for profit.
