Mortgage Lender Agrees to Settlement
(Las Vegas, NV) — Morgan Stanley has agreed to a settlement that will end an investigation into alleged deception over mortgage lending. The attorney general’s office says the investment firm was accused of misleading lenders about the interest rate and payments on their loans. As part of the settlement, Morgan Stanley will provide up to $40-million for hundreds of Nevadans. The company has neither admitted or denied any wrong doing.
