(Las Vegas, NV)  — Starting this Saturday, drivers will be pulled over if they are chatting or texting while behind the wheel.  Law enforcement officials will issue warnings until January 1st, when citations will be issued.  Drivers caught using handheld phones on the road will face a $50 fine, with higher penalties and a suspended drivers license for a third offense.  It will still be legal to use a hands-free device while driving.
