(Primm, NV)  –  A new solar plant south of Las Vegas will soon provide clean energy for thousands of people.  The Silver State North Project lies near Nevada’s border with Southern California.  When it begins operating later this year, it will convert enough light from the sun to power about 15-thousand homes.  NV Energy will buy electricity from the plant for Vegas Valley customers.
