Golden Gate Gets A Makeover
(Las Vegas, NV) — The city’s oldest hotel is getting a makeover. The “Las Vegas Sun” says the Golden Gate will spend $12-million to add a five-story building on the downtown property. It will house 16 suites, a new lobby, conference rooms, and a high-limit poker pit. The Golden Gate, which opened in 1906, is best-known for its inexpensive shrimp cocktails.
