(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The owners of the Sahara hotel say plans are moving forward for redeveloping the now-shuttered Vegas Strip resort.  SBE Entertainment and Stockbridge Real Estate Funds have purchased the Sahara’s mortgage debt, and hired an architecture firm and a building firm to look into development options.  No details have yet been announced.  The Sahara first opened its doors in 1952, but closed in May due to the recession.
