(Washington, DC)  — Republican Mark Amodei will be sworn into office this morning as Nevada’s newest congressman.  The former state senator easily won Tuesday’s special election to serve the state’s Second District.  He says his job now is to make all those people who voted for him “look like smart people.”  Amodei’s top priority will be getting up to speed on President Obama’s job package proposal and federal land regulations.  Nearly 90% of Nevada land is controlled by the federal government.
