(Las Vegas, NV)  –  A major repaving project has slowed traffic on the state’s busiest freeway to a near standstill.  The “Las Vegas Sun” says lane closures along I-15 and Tropicana began yesterday, causing gridlock for thousands of drivers who use the corridor.  The project promises to make the commute both smoother and quieter.  Meanwhile, lanes will be reduced in either direction from Sunday nights until early Thursday mornings for the next five to six weeks.  You may want to take a different route to work until then.
