(Las Vegas, NV) — Republican Mark Amodei is considered the favorite to win tomorrow’s special election in the Second Congressional District. Early voting indicates the former state senator could defeat Democrat and state Treasurer
Kate Marshall in a district that has stayed Republican since it was created in 1982. Secretary of State Ross Miller is
expecting a 30% turnout in the Second District, which covers much of northern and rural Nevada, and some of the Las Vegas area.
