(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A lawsuit against Metro Police for a deadly shooting is expected to be filed today.  The “Review-Journal”
says the family of 23-year-old Rafael Olivas plans to sue Metro, along with Sheriff Doug Gillespie and the two officers who shot and killed Olivas at a northwest valley home in July.  His mother claims the officers killed her son “like if he were a dog.”  She called 911 to report her son was distraught.  Police say the officers shot Olivas after he refused to drop a knife he was waving at them.
