(Las Vegas, NV) — First-time Nevada drivers who have had to wait weeks for a driver’s test could get some relief. DMV Director Bruce Breslow tells the “Review-Journal” his agency is considering hiring private examiners to help do the tests, with drivers paying the extra cost. The Legislature would have to approve the plan in 2013. The waiting time for the driving test can be as long as six weeks.
