(Reno, NV) —  The state wants to end a loan modification agreement with Bank of America. Attorney General Catherine Cortez
Masto filed papers in a Reno federal court yesterday, claiming the banking giant raised interest rates on homeowners who modified their loans, despite promises the interest would be lower.  Cortez Masto wants to void the 2008 deal so she can sue B of A for deceptive lending and loan practices.
