Man Sought In Las Vegas Hookah Lounge Slaying
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas say a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 35-year-old man accused of killing one person and wounding another in a stabbing attack on a dance floor at a hookah lounge.
Court records show that Eddy Rodriguez faces murder and attempted murder charges in the 4 a.m. Aug.
13 slaying of 49-year-old Francisco Rodriguez and the attack on Juan Miranda. Authorities did not say if Eddy and Francisco Rodriguez are related.
A police report alleges that Eddy Rodriguez stabbed Francisco Rodriguez six times for dancing with his ex-girlfriend at the Layalina Hookah Lounge on Spring Mountain Road near Rainbow Boulevard.
Police say Miranda received a broken arm and a stab wound trying to intervene.
