(Las Vegas, NV)  — Over 20,000 Star Trek fans will beam down in Vegas to mark the classic science fiction series’ 45th anniversary.  The convention will feature what’s being billed as one of the last public appearances for Leonard Nimoy, who played Dr. Spock on the original series.  Fans will also try to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people
dressed as Star Trek characters.  The convention begins tomorrow and runs through Sunday at the Rio Hotel.
