Nye County police were tipped off to a marijuana grow house. Detectives discovered 243 pot plants, weighing approximately 160 pounds. Evidence inside led them to the residence of a suspect where they found an additional 1726 marijuana plants, 4 grams of methamphetamine and prescription drugs.

Officials say if the seized plants had been allowed to mature, they would have produced marijuana with an estimated street value of 5.7 million dollars.

Police are asking for your help in locating suspect, Amos Cavallo. He’s described as a white male, 5’11, 205 lbs. with brown hair, blue eyes.  If you have information as to his whereabouts, contact the Nye County Sheriff’s Office at 775-751-7000.
