Robbery Gone Wrong Claims Life Of Elderly Woman

LAS VEGAS (CBS) – The cause of death has been determined for the 68-year-old woman found dead in her Las Vegas home.

The Clark County Coroner says the Katherine Cole died by asphyxiation and pressure to the neck.

Police say Cole was found dead in her home near Valley View and Oakey this past Friday, the apparent victim of a robbery gone wrong.

Police have released surveillance images showing the suspects, who are using the victims credit card to make purchases around the valley.  They believe the two men are of Latin decent, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 30 to 40-years-old.

The suspects were last seen driving a red sedan, but Metro is also  looking for Cole’s 2000 four-door Acura with tinted windows. That license plate is 805 MSN.
