(Las Vegas, NV) — Two-thousand current and former UNLV employees are being notified their personal information may have been accessed illegally. The university’s Office of Information Technology says the hacking took place on a desktop computer in late 2008. It contained names and Social Security numbers of workers who had loans and transactions with UNLV’s controller’s office. So far, there have been no reports of identity theft.
