Pit Bull Killed After Attacking Officer; Suspect Still Sought
NORTH LAS VEGAS (CBS) – An officer investigating a domestic disturbance is recovering after being attacked by a pit bull. The dog was killed by the officer, but the suspect being investigated is still being sought.
It happend in the 500 block of Rancho Del Mar Way. The suspect has been identified as Troy USU, a 22-year-old asian male. 5’9″, 150 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his neck that reads “Felon” and one near his left eye with three dots. The above photo is from 2008.
This afternoon officers responded back to the home where the original incident occurred for
another domestic dispute involving USU. Therefore he is thought to still be in the neighborhood.
The officer has been released from the hospital and is recuperating at home.
USU is a convicted felon and is considered dangerous.
