2 Jailed After Weekend Slaying At Vegas Apartment
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Fast food restaurant surveillance tapes have led police to two suspects in a deadly weekend shooting at a Las Vegas apartment complex.
Police report 18-year-old Dominic J. Commisso and 19-year-old Steven Arroyo of Las Vegas were booked into jail Wednesday on suspicion of murder.
Arrest reports indicate 21-year-old Charles Taylor was with friends Sunday night outside the apartments when two men claiming to be part of the Loco Boys street gang approached and one began shooting.
Taylor was struck and later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
Witnesses said both men were carrying plastic bags from Taco Bell and one was wearing a baseball cap emblazoned with the letters “LB.”
Surveillance tapes from a nearby Taco Bell show two men matching the suspect descriptions bought food shortly before the shooting.
