Baseball Legend Sues to Stop Auction
(Las Vegas, NV) — Baseball great Reggie Jackson has filed suit to stop a local firm from auctioning off his career memorabilia. The “Las Vegas Sun” says Jackson claims his stepmother and others provided the items to American Memorabilia against his wishes.
Items include his New York Yankees watch that marked his 400th career home run, and a ring that’s a near-replica of the Hall of Famer’s 1977 World Series Championship ring. The auction is set to begin tomorrow.
