Henderson Police are asking the public’s help to track down a man who robbed a local pharmacy at knifepoint. It happened back on June 9th at the CVS Pharmacy on Sunset and Valle Verde. Police say shortly after 9 p.m. a man entered the front of the store and went to the pharmacy counter in the back. He reportedly went behind the counter and confronted the pharmacist, demanding the safe be opened. When the pharmacist hesitated, the man reportedly pulled out a knife and repeated the demand. Police say the pharmacist opened the safe and the man took several bottles of prescription medications. He put about 40 bottles in a white plastic grocery bag and left the store through an emergency exit. No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect’s image was captured on store surveillance cameras. He’s white, 5’10″ to 6′ tall, about 240 pounds. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap, blue button up shirt, jean shorts and tennis shoes.
