Las Vegas Man Sentenced In Internet Sex Case
LAS VEGAS (CBS) – A Las Vegas man faces 37 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release after being convicted of a sex crime involving a minor.
U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden said in a release Monday that 43-year-old Darryl Walizer was found guilty of coercion and enticement of a minor.
Walizer was arrested after he contacted an undercover detectives poising online as a 14-year-old and asked about engaging in sexual acts with her.
After he serves his prison time, Walizer will be under federal supervision for the rest of his life.
Walizer was a sex offender with two previous convictions involving minors.
