(Irving, TX)  —  Three Las Vegas Michaels stores have been affected by a PIN pad tampering incident.  Officials with the arts and crafts chain say about 72-hundred PIN pads have been removed from its stores across the nation, including the locations on Eastern Avenue, Decatur Boulevard and Arroyo Crossing Parkway.

New tamper-proof devices have been installed.  Michaels is urging customers to get a free credit report and contact their banks if they think their accounts have been tampered with.

For more information, call the chain at 1-800-MICHAELS.
