(Carson City, NV) — Governor Brian Sandoval kept up with a busy Legislature yesterday, signing more than 50 bills into law. One would allow students to report crime on school campuses anonymously. Another would require schools to report bullying incidents.
Stores will be required to post signs, warning pregnant women that smoking can cause birth defects. Another bill would make it a misdemeanor to vandalize a home facing foreclosure.
The governor also signed a bill abolishing an advisory council on the metric system that was formed in the 1970s and has not met in nearly 30 years.
