(Las Vegas,NV)  —  The Las Vegas Strip will be packed this Memorial Day weekend.  Despite rising fuel prices, airline ticket increases and higher hotel rates, the Convention and Visitors Authority estimates about 311,000 people will be in Sin City through Monday, a 2% increase over last year.

AAA says Vegas is the top destination for Southern Californians this Memorial Day, and is the number one location for those booking vacations on Orbitz.com.
