(Carson City,NV)  —  In the wake of a state Supreme Court decision, Governor Brian Sandoval is expected to announce a revised two-year budget today.  Sandoval will ask the Legislature to extend more than $600-million in tax increases set to expire next month.

The governor is also expected to remove millions of dollars of revenue the state was set to take from local governments, including school construction bond reserve money and property taxes.  Democrats had been negotiating with Republicans over extending the tax hikes approved in 2009.
