As early voting continues, an independent poll shows Carolyn Goodman with a wide lead in the race for mayor. The “Las Vegas Sun” says the robopolling group Strategic National gives the wife of outgoing mayor Oscar Goodman with 53-percent among a group of 359 voters. Opponent Chris Giunchigliani has just under 30 percent, with the remainder still undecided. Earlier this month, a poll taken for Giunchigliani’s campaign put the county commissioner virtually neck-and-neck with Goodman.
