GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

LAS VEGAS – New clues and new incentives are being used in an attempt to break a murder case for which there is no known suspect. Today, Metro Police released the surveillance video taken the night Michael Portaro was killed in North Las Vegas.

Portaro, a former football player at Faith Lutheran High School and aspiring rapper, was shot to death on March 30 in the parking lot of the Tenaya Creek Brewery at Tenaya and Cheyenne.

Police are hoping that someone will recognize suspect in the video. The suspect is wearing dark clothes and light colored shoes.

The family, meantime, added additional money to a reward fund for information on who is responsible for Portaro’s murder. That fund is now at $30,000.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Metro Homicide Detail at (702)828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at (702)385-5555 or at
