Fewer people are buying homes in Southern Nevada. The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors says nearly 31-hundred single-family homes were sold in April, a drop of nine percent from March’s numbers, but up nearly five percent from April 2010. Officials say the spring break, the federal tax deadline and a late Easter accounted for the drop. The median price of a resale home last month was 125-thousand dollars, down from March’s numbers. Just over half of the sales were made with cash.
