Tomorrow is the annual Kentucky Derby, but many would-be bettors are staying away from the race and sports books. The “Las Vegas Sun” says revenue from horse racing has fallen 30-percent at Nevada casinos over the past decade. Horse betting seems to attract an older clientele, with its slower pace and fewer opportunities for gamblers to win long-shot races. And some observers say bettors are turning to foreign websites with higher win potential.
