LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas police have made an arrest after bones were found buried in a backyard of a house last month.
Police say on April 23rd they were called to a home on Gold Avenue after a homeowner found a body buried in his backyard. Police say the homeowner was not a suspect in the crime and began looking for the previous tenants.
The body was later identified as 45-year-old Gloria Cave. Police say they arrested 53-year-old Hugh Cave for the murder of Gloria Cave. The two were married to each other and police say the Cave’s used to live at the home where the bones were found.
Hugh Cave was found living in the Philippines. Detectives with Metro’s Criminal Apprehension Team coordinated with FBI agents in the Philippines, and Filipino authorities, and arrested Cave on May 5th.
He will be extradited to Las Vegas to stand trial.
