A push is underway for self-service kiosks to reduce the time people wait for service at Nevada’s DMV offices. Senate Bill 411 would allow the DMV to expand kiosks for drivers to renew registrations and licenses. They could be placed at supermarkets and college campuses. The DMV plans to charge a user fee for kiosk use, but those wanting to avoid the fee can still go to the agency’s offices.
