Nevada is poised to join 46 states in requiring national accreditation for advanced practice nurses if it adopts SB205. The Nevada Nursing Association says the standard would show that the state is serious about quality care. The nurses association says 80 percent to 95 percent of Nevada nurses already have national accreditation, which requires regular renewal.
