(Carson City, NV)  —  Senate Republicans have refused to vote on Governor Brian Sandoval’s proposed education budget cuts.  Democrats tried to force a full Senate vote yesterday, but Minority Leader Mike McGinness read a statement supporting the governor’s plan to cut public school funding without raising taxes.  Democrats want fewer cuts and a hike in some taxes for education.
