Man Wins In Suit Against The Palms

A man has won a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the Palms hotel. The “Las Vegas Sun” says a judge awarded Enrique Rodriguez six-point-six million dollars in a trial earlier this month. The Riverside, California man claimed another man dove for a water bottle thrown by a cheerleader, injuring Rodriguez’s left knee. It happened in the hotel’s sports book in November 2004. District Judge Jessie Walsh ruled the Palms was aware that souvenirs were being thrown into the crowd, and could result in an injury.

Insane. Where do these judges come from? Will be reversed in appeal.

RIDICULOUS, I AM SICK TO DEATH OF SUE HAPPY PEOPLE AND THE JUDGES THAT ALLOW THEM TO GET RICH OFF OF OTHERS. DIDN’T THIS GUY KNOW THAT BY BEING IN THE CROWD HE COULD GET HURT. MAYBE HE SHOULD STAY HOME IN A BUBBLE WRAP – GOING OUTSIDE CAN CAUSE INJURY!
