Students and faculty are mourning the death of University of Nevada Reno President Milton Glick. The “Reno Gazette-Journal” says the 73-year-old Glick suffered a stroke at a restaurant Saturday night, but never recovered. Glick led the way for new buildings on campus and cultural diversity. He also fought efforts to cut higher education spending. Before he was appointed as UNR president in 2006, Glick was executive vice president and provost at Arizona State University in Tempe.
