GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Carson City, NV)  —  Governor Brian Sandoval likes the idea of legalizing Internet poker, as long as the federal government gives states the right to adopt it.  In an interview for the statewide television program “Nevada Newsmakers”, heard Saturdays on KXNT, Sandoval said online gaming is the wave of the future, and Nevada should be the first to take advantage if Congress approves the practice.

Last month, a bill was introduced in the Assembly that would allow online poker within Nevada and in foreign countries where it’s not banned.  Yesterday, Washington DC, approved a poker website within its borders.
