(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The doctor at the center of the valley’s hepatitis C outbreak may not have enough money to pay his creditors and former patients.  The “Review-Journal” says according to a federal bankruptcy judge, Doctor Dipak Desai’s assets may have been grossly overvalued.

Desai is facing two-point-four million dollars in legal fees, plus lawsuits stemming from the 2007 hepatitis outbreak at his clinics.  The 60-year-old Desai is being evaluated to determine if he’s competent to stand trial on felony charges.
