(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A few Southwest flights to and from Las Vegas have been canceled this morning as the airline continues to inspect its Boeing 737-300 jets.  The airline expects to cancel about 70 flights nationwide today.

Several hundred flights were scrapped this past weekend after Friday’s emergency landing of a Southwest jet that developed a hole in the fuselage near Phoenix.

Southwest expects to complete the inspection of its 737 fleet by late tomorrow.  Check with Southwest or McCarran’s website to see if your flight is affected.
